Christmas Morning

Gracie got a kitchen and she just adores playing in it and making us whatever we want to eat. She's so cute with it.

All Joey has asked for since last Christmas was a DSI so his wish finally came true.

Jackson couldn't decide what to ask Santa for this year so he was really surprised to find all the baseball equipment who could ever need to play his favorite sport. He should be well prepared for the next season.

Pretty sure Maddox could care less what Santa brought.

Jake got his bike. No one loves to ride their bike like Jake does (except maybe Jackson).

"Line up. It's time to see what Santa brought."

Christmas Eve

Magically the same ward Santa also visits us over at GG and Grumpy's house each Christmas Eve. This year was no exception. We spent our annual Christmas Eve at their house eating the yummy green chili, visiting with family, reading and playing the Davy game & visiting with Santa before we headed home to open our PJ's and get to bed.

Of course I'm writing this several months after Christmas and can now say if we would have known then that this was going to be our last Christmas with our sweet GG I would have gotten some pictures with her. She was very frail during the holidays but made several appearances and then would lay down when it got too much. Christmas will never be the same now that she is gone. We love and miss her so much.

Ward Party Santa

My kids usually have several opportunities to see Santa over the holiday. This was their first visit at the ward party. Unfortunately, Jackson seems to think he's too big and cool to sit on Santa's lap anymore so here are pictures of the other four. Gracie and Maddox weren't so sure about the whole thing.

Joey was very proud of the letter he wrote to Santa so we had to include a picture of it before we threw it out.

Most School Mornings...

this is our routine if we don't have to be somewhere. We love to snuggle on the couch or in my bed in our pj's and giggle and play. These two have such a fun relationship and Gracie can make Maddox laugh more than anyone. I love our snuggle time and will miss it when they go off to school with the others.

Jackson's Winning Football Season

Jackson's team were the winners of the season this year. He has been lucky enough to always play on a winning team no matter the sport. He had a lot of fun this year and his games even included trips to Douglas, Bisbee and several to Morenci.

Maddox at 2 months

He loves his daddy and loves to coo and talk to him, even if he is a Mama's boy. This baby is such a sweet natured boy. He is just about sleeping through the night at 2 months and rarely ever cries. He is always content unless hungry. We love him so much!!

Maddox's Baby Blessing

We blessed Maddox on November 7th, 2010. All of my siblings and their families attended as well as all of Scott's that live in town. Grandpa's Howard and Allen also stood in the circle. Scott always gives the best blessings and this one was no exception. He did an excellent job. It was a very special day.

Halloween

Planning costumes for five kids is kind of tricky.

Luckily I'm starting to get quite a collection in our "Costume Box"

Joey got conned into being a spider because I still had the costume from a play he had just finished in school where he had to play a spider.

Jake wanted to be a karate dude and that was pretty easy too because he already had the outfit. Not much to do there.

I wasn't sure what to do for Gracie until I find this cute dress in the dress up section of Walmart. We found some matching ears and hands and we were good to go. She looked adorable.

I actually found Maddox's costume at Walmart and liked because not only did he look adorable in it but it was out of a thick felt-like fabric that kept him very warm.

Jackson is the only one who is getting easier because he's not too interested in dressing up much anymore. He put a helmet on and called himself a biker. Easy enough.

The END of the NIGHT. Tired kids that just want to eat their candy and go to bed.

All in all in was a fairly successful night but I have to admit that I like Halloween less and less each year. Sorry kids.
