Ultrasound Pics

Well, I had my ultrasound today so Scott can finally believe that I'm really pregnant. She was moving around in there and we could see here little heart a beating away. It's amazing that something so small can have so much life. The picture says she only measures 12 cm which I believe is only an inch from head to rear. She's due on the exact day I figured, August 21st. It's going to be a long hot summer.

Here's the pictures even though they're not much to look at. Just a blob. My boys were like "That's it?!" "Yep, that's it." It's all a little more real now that we've seen the evidence. Life is amazing!

Trying to Think of Something to Post

OK - So I haven't posted anything in a long time and people are starting to get on my case about it. I've been trying to think of something but haven't had much going on. I've been spending way too much time on the couch lately feeling yucky. I had the flu the other day and that on top of morning sickness was miserable.

I do have something funny to share though. Saturday morning Scott fixed us a great pancake breakfast and while we were sitting there eating he asked everyone who wanted the baby to be a boy and no one raised their hand. So then he asked who wanted it to be a girl and everyone raised their hand. Scott really wants a girl too. So then we asked the kids what we should name their new baby sister and Joey says, "Polka Dot!" and Jake yells out "Crocodile!" Where do these things come from? So I guess I'm going to have a Polka Dotted Crocodile.

Great Photo Opp

My boys were playing in the backyard and when I went to check on them I found this perfect photo opp. I ran back inside to get my camera before Joey could climb out of the tree. I then proceeded to take about 100 shots of them playing in the backyard. It was my first opportunity to really play with my new camera that santa brought me. Scott bought me the new Canon Rebel XT for Christmas and I love it. I've had so much fun learning how to use it. I still have a long way to go before I figure it all out but thank goodness for automatic mode until I learn. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.
