For Memorial Day Norm and Jen wanted to do something but Norm was on call so we couldn't go far. We decided to load up the quads and some snacks and lunch and head down to the river for awhile. The Knights brought their easy up awning and we took camp chairs and parked right by the water and let the kids play. They had a blast and besides all the moss in the water it was perfect. Not to deep for the little ones to just run around and play. I was tempted to sit down in the middle of it myself if there wasn't so much moss.

Memorial Day
Mother's Day Gift
I've been meaning to post this for awhile but am just now getting pictures off my camera. For Mother's Day this year Scott surprised me by giving me a Mother's ring. I was very surprised and love it. I've always wanted one but never thought it was time since I had more kids to come. But after this pregnancy we've been trying to decide if this is it for us for kids. Three in one year is a lot to take in after just having one for so long. I've decided it's about all I need but Scott figures we could have one or two more. I guess we'll leave it up to the Lord to decide but here's hoping I don't have to get another ring with more stones on it someday!
My kids birthstones go so well together. The boys are all different shades of pink and our little girl (as long as she waits until her due date) is green. I love the pinks and green together! It's beautiful. Thanks honey!

Happy Birthday Wendy & Cami!!
Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Wendy & Camiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Happy Birthday to you!!!!!
Well, since it's in the middle of both your birthday's I thought I'd post a birthday wish. Late to Wendy and early to Cami! We thought of you about 11 p.m. on the night of your birthday but thought the best present would be to not call you at 11 p.m. Hope this year is great for both of you! Can't wait for another visit in the summertime. Thanks for being great sister-in-laws.
We love you both!

Dang Becky! I hate these things...
but I'll give in I guess and see if I have anything creative to add. These things always get me in trouble if I'm honest because then people learn way too much about me.
How to play this game. Post these rules on your blog; List 3 Joys, 3 Fears, 3 Goals, 3 Current Obsessions/Collections, 3 Random Surprising Facts About Yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.
3 Joys: Besides the pat answers of children and family: 1. Alone time with my husband 2. CHOCOLATE! (Come on, I'm pregnant) 3. Feeling this baby girl move in my belly
3 Fears: 1. That my baby girl wont be healthy 2. LABOR & DELIVERY! 3. That I'm a mean mom
3 Goals: 1. To be a better mother (see answer above) 2. To stay off of bedrest 3. To get my office cleaned out
3 Current Obsessions/Collections: 1. Buying PINK things! Bows, clothes, shoes, blankets, whatever! 2. Making PINK scrapbook pages 3. Did I mention CHOCOLATE?
3 Random Facts: 1. Apparently, I'm BOSSY if you hadn't already noticed. (We were at a party the other night and when the hostess asked who would make the best boss the whole table pointed at me!! How embarrassing! 2. Scott and I love to play Scrabble or Boggle in bed -sometimes every night - after the kiddos are in bed. Does that make us sound weird or old or something? 3. I hate to have a dirty or cluttered house. If my house is not in perfect order all the time I get really grouchy. I'm really trying hard to not let it effect me as badly because the more pregnant I get the lazier I get and my husband keeps telling me I just have to let some things go. I'm TRYING REALLY HARD but my carpet needs cleaned badly.

The Scrapbox - I Ordered it!

I ordered this great piece of furniture and I'm so excited! It was really hard to do because my tax subsidy money could go to good use in so many places like new carpet or new baby furniture or paying off a credit card but ultimately, this was the piece that would make the puzzle all fit.
In order for me to move this baby into my office which is the only place for her to go, I have to find a place for my office to go. I have had an office/scrapbook room my entire marriage and have accumulated way too much stuff and this will be the first time I have to give it up so it's been a hard decision for me to make but ultimately I think it will work out. However, now I've got to move my computer desk and my scrapbook desk somewhere and it's going to have to go in the overflow to my living room. This means it's going to be seen when people walk into my front door so it's going to have to be tidy. So when I found a solution in my latest scrapbook magazine I jumped on it.
This scrapbox http://www.theoriginalscrapbox.com/ is amazing and I think it will have room to store most everything I have and be able to look good doing it. It closes up when not in use and when it's open it's a full 9 feet wide with a work table that comes out. It also comes with the 87 totes you see inside. The ones on the door are clear pouchs that velcro to it and can be removed easily if not in use or for traveling. I can't wait for it to arrive now. Once it does I can begin moving my office and then that means I can begin putting the baby's room together. It's going to be so fun decorating for a girl!

Celebrating our Anniversary
We decided spur of the moment to get away for the weekend for our anniversary. We didn't know where we wanted to go and I didn't care as long as it wasn't hot. We found some cabins to rent in Pinetop and decided that was the place to go. We rented a little one bedroom cabin for the weekend at Whispering Pines in Pinetop. It wasn't your 5 star hotel but it was nice and cozy with a fireplace and it was very clean and surrounded by pine trees.
It was really cold when we got to town Friday night so we were able to snuggle up in front of the fireplace. We even decided to run out and get stuff to make smores in the middle of the night. Saturday we didn't have any plans so we took our time and went out for a late breakfast and then walked around a few antique stores around town. I couldn't do much because I was still having some pains and the doctor had told me to take things easy and stay down as much as possible.
After we walked around town we decided to drive to Snowflake to see the temple. It was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. I wish we would've planned better and been able to do a session. We then drove around Snowflake to see if any of my relatives were home and we struck out so we tried to find my good friend Christa who lives in Taylor. But honestly, who is home on a Saturday afternoon?! So we headed back to our cabin.
We were able to leave our kids with Nana and the Stephensons and the Greens. They all took turns because let's face it, a day with my kids is enough sometimes. We appreciate their help so much and are grateful they were willing to help. So I guess we'll count this as my babymoon as well as my anniversary celebration. It was lovely!

13 YEARS!
Scott and I celebrated 13 years of marriage on May 5th this week. We have been so blessed in our lives and enjoy such a wonderful relationship. I am so grateful for his calming influence in my life and in our home. He has always made me feel like the most important thing in his life and that nothing but my happiness is important to him. We are so opposite in so many ways but I think it has helped to balance our lives perfectly. When my stress levels shoot through the roof he is always the one reminding me how unimportant whatever I'm worried about really is. He's always saying, "just don't worry about it. It will all work out." and even when it feels like it won't somehow it always does and he's always right and makes me feel so much better.
He has never said a cross word to me and we never argue or fight, which I am so grateful for. He is a wonderful father to our boys and he is so excited about getting a little Daddy's girl that it makes me feel so blessed to be helping give that to him. She's going to be so spoiled. He is always asking if I need some time away or time on my own and he is always willing to step in and take over when the answer is yes and I'm feeling overwhelmed and just need a break. I know that I did something right in the pre-existence to be blessed to be his eternal companion and whatever it was it was well worth it!

Naming this baby girl...
has proven to be more difficult than I thought it would be. I can usually make decisions rather quickly and know just what I want but it hasn't been so with this baby. First there was the dilemma of whether or not to use a J name. After much searching the only J names we liked were Jillian and Jacey. Jacey had been one of my names had Jackson been a girl but it just isn't a favorite anymore. Then we decided to name her Jillian Olivia for a few days. But after trying to think of her as Jillian for about a week I just couldn't do it.
So now back to square one. We've kicked around so many and nothing feels right. All my old favorites don't work. So the new ones we're kicking around now are Delaney and Ivy. We think we like Delaney best and Scott wants to have her middle name as Marie which was my Grandma's name. We've also kicked around Michelle as a middle name since that's my real name. I know we still have a few months but it's nice to have things settled. I'm a planner. I like things all lined out way before they happen. So any suggestions from anyone? Which do you like best?
