Asthma!

Can you believe ...

this boy ...

has asthma?

I can't. Out of all my kids he would be the worst one to get it. My on-the-go, always outside doing something active boy is the worst one to have been diagnosed with asthma. I have to say I was shocked with the diagnosis because he just had a cough but he kept getting a cough and after several rounds of antibiotics it kept coming back. After looking into it and talking to the doctor apparently this is how asthma presents at first is as a cough. So he's now on a daily inhaler of Flovent with an albuterol inhaler for flare ups. I'm just grateful we have insurance.

Chris and Suzette said...: Welcome to the wonderful world of asthma! I too have asthma and it can be a big pain in the rear end. My only advice is to always have an inhaler and everything will be just fine! It could be worse . . . it could be diabetes that changes everything about your life (specifically what you put in your mouth :)) How terrible would that be?

Card Design

I made my Christmas Card this year and after showing a few people and getting feedback they all asked if I could make theirs. So I decided, why not. I am not limited to Christmas Cards. As you see I've done a few baby announcements and a birthday invitation. I could also do wedding invitations. If you're interested, just email me with your picture(s) and an idea of what you'd like it to say and maybe an idea of your style. I'll do an option or two and email back to you. You get it printed wherever you'd like just like you would a standard photo although if you use Walgreens or Walmart I would suggest doing send out and not one-hour. One-hour prints very dark and doesn't stay true to color. I'm charging $15 for a 4x6. I can do any size you'd like but there is an additional $3 charge for other sizes. It's best to have your envelopes and check into your printing options before we decide on what size. Any questions just email me at scottshelley@cableone.net. Thanks!
