So I'm a little behind on the Christmas pictures. I'd almost decided not to do them this year until I found out Dave Palmer was starting to take photos and doing a great job. He readily agreed to do a shoot for us and it was great. We got so many good ones that it was really hard to choose favorites. So beware, the next 20 or so photos are my favorites. That's as narrowed down as I could get with 80 photos to choose from. Gracie started getting tired and fussy towards the end so we didn't get many of her by herself. But we made up for it and she had her own photo shoot this morning. Those photos will be coming soon. Thanks again, Dave! We love them!
Oh my goodness. How cute are all of those. You have such a beautiful family. I would totally buy more than one christmas dress too. I think I need to barrow her just to get a baby fix;) merry christmas. Love how that bow looks on her!
What a beautiful family!!! These are amazing photos. I love the family photo of all of you looking at the field with your backs to the camera. What a great shot. Sounds like you are all doing great!
Scott & I have been married for 16 years. We had Jackson in 1999. He just turned 12. After many years of trying to get him some siblings we decided to adopt. We started the licensing process with the state in March of 2007 to adopt a sibling group of foster children & on May 29th we had Joey & Jake moving in with us. It has been quite a whirlwind around here. Joseph is now 8 & Jake is 6. They are tons of fun, very smart & very tender hearted. They love to talk & play & wrestle with their brother. Jackson loves being the big brother & is such a help to me. Then on Christmas Eve of 2007 we found out that the Lord really is in charge of our lives & has a great sense of humor when we found out after all this time that I was pregnant! Yes, pregnant with no fertility or anything. So we had our first little girl in a house full of boys in August 2008. In a year we went from a family of 3 to a family of 6.
And then there were 7... Then in Jan. of 2010 we found out I was pregnant again. I gave birth to Maddox on Sept. 4. We now have 5 kids. There have been many growing pains but it's all been worth it.
I made my Christmas Card this year and after showing a few people and getting feedback they all asked if I could make theirs. So I decided, why not. I am not limited to Christmas Cards. As you see I've done a few baby announcements and a birthday invitation. I could also do wedding invitations.
If you're interested, just email me with your picture(s) and an idea of what you'd like it to say and maybe an idea of your style. I'll do an option or two and email back to you. You get it printed wherever you'd like just like you would a standard photo although if you use Walgreens or Walmart I would suggest doing send out and not one-hour. One-hour prints very dark and doesn't stay true to color.
I'm charging $15 for a 4x6. I can do any size you'd like but there is an additional $3 charge for other sizes. It's best to have your envelopes and check into your printing options before we decide on what size. Any questions just email me at scottshelley@cableone.net. Thanks!
Below you'll find a slideshow of some of my samples. Let me know if you like one of these. Your card will be original but could be similar to someone else's or to one of my samples.
